John M. Peckham III, Executive Director of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society announced Chairman Rome's election and explained that the new Society Chapter brings national Cyberspace networking support to real estate professionals in this area. By utilizing the wide reach of the Internet, Society members bring additional value to the clients they serve.

Margaret Rome is nominated by The Greater Baltimore Board of Realtor®

(Baltimore, MD — June 17, 1999) The Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® has nominated Margaret Rome for 1999 Realtor of the Year and 1999 Distinguished Sales Associate of the Year.

Margaret Rome receives Leadership Team Award for 1998 in the +$5 million total closed dollar volume category.

(San Diego, CA — February 8, 1999) The ERA Franchise Systems, Inc. has awarded Margaret Rome the 1998 Leadership Team Award in the +$5 million total closed dollar volume category. The awards will be given by the ERA during the 1999 International Business Conference in San Diego. Margaret and other National Leadership Team Award winners will get a chance to meet and mingle with their peers—certainly an honor!

WCR Leadership Designation

(Chicago, IL –January 20, 1999) Margaret Rome, a Baltimore Realtor, has earned the prestigious Leadership Training Graduate (LTG) designation from the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). LTG, the only leadership designation offered in the Realtor community, is earned by candidates who successfully demonstrate excellence in career leadership.

WCR members who receive the LTG designation have successfully completed WCR’s LTC courses and fulfilled specific volunteer, career, and education requirements. The combination of education and experience cultivates distinctive, well-rounded real estate leaders.

The Women’s Council of Realtors, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, is a professional organization with more that 13,000 members nationwide.
